| Paul and Peggy Faunt
always had the dream to open an animal sanctuary. As
a child, Peggy was the kind who would allow dogs to follow
her home from school. Animals who lost their way
seemed to know exactly where little Peggy lived. Animals seem to have a
special radar for these kind of people. This started the love for
displaced animals.
As Peggy grew up and found love with a 2 legged animal, Paul, it
seemed theirs was a match made in Heaven. After raising their
4 children, in 1996 Paul and Peggy officially opened the doors of PauPeg |
 |
Homes, Inc., a non-profit
organization. Sadly, in 2002, Paul passed away.
Since
Peggy was completely committed to the sanctuary, she sold their home
to get money to buy enough land to house the sanctuary.
Today her dream continues, and Peggy has purchased property for the
sanctuary called Indian Creek. The sanctuary is beautiful...
There are pastures for the horses, and enough grass for Timmy the goat and
Petunia the Pig to be as content as they come.
